Returning to Blogging.

I'll be the first to admit it. And I know there are bloggers out there who can relate - you know who you are! 

There have been at least two dozen times I've sat down to write a blog post this past week but for whatever reason (being a mommy, nursing a baby going through a growth spurt, fixing dinner, working on stuff that actually brings in money, etc, etc.) I've not been able to complete one concise thought.  Frustrating, to say the least.

Don't you hate that? When you get into a rut of feeling so overwhelmed that you actually DO have stuff to blog about that is worth reading, but just can't muster the energy to complete your thoughts?  Well, that's been me for about the past week.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a shout-out to the blogosphere that I AM ACTUALLY HERE and have stuff to say.  Today my baby turned six months and I was able to snap a handful of photos of him that are TO. DIE. FOR.  So cute.  But, you'll have to wait.  I will try and get them edited and posted tomorrow though.  And, I am super-jumping-for-joy because I just found out today that my sister (who lives in Paris -- as in FRANCE!) is coming in this Thursday for the Easter weekend! What a surprise!

If you're anything like me, you keep Q-tips close by in nearly every room of your house.  I use them for the obvious like cleaning around little boys' dirty ears.  But I also have found they are quite useful for cleaning up nail polish "oops" mistakes when dipped into nail polish remover.  I also use them to help blend eye shadow colors and remove eye makeup.  And I am sure we can all relate to using Q-tips dipped in alcohol to clean out our baby's umbilical cord area, right?  Awwwww!

But, here's the kicker.  Did you also know that Q-tips brand cotton swabs are disposable and biodegradable when composted?  How cool is that?
