A special thank you to Walt Disney World resort, gracious hosts of Disney Social Media Moms event 2012 and to Lisa Druxman, Founder of Stroller Strides, for sharing such wonderful and inspiring information with us all.
{Disclosure: I was invited to take
part in the 2012 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration conference. My
travel and expenses were heavily subsidized as part of this program,
however I was not specifically asked to share anything with my readers
about the conference or anything related to Disney. I am doing this on
my own accord. All opinions are my own. No one is the boss of me!}
I have been using my Motorola Xoom's video feature almost daily. Seriously. It's THAT good and THAT easy to incorporate into my everyday routine of running around with my kids to their daily activties.
I've been able to capture video of their football games, their violin lessons, and other random cuteness. Like this:
It was totally filmed and edited ON the Motorola Xoom tablet itself using the Movie Studio software it comes with. I LOVE this software! It is SO easy to use and you can add audio, edit clips, add text overlays and transitions, and more!
So what's your favorite way to capture videos of your everyday moments?

I recently shared with you a bit about my new Motorola Xoom tablet. What I didn't share is how much my kids freakin' BEG me to use it every. SINGLE. DAY. Well, the other day I finally caved. Hubby was running my oldest to football practice so I was home with a bit of downtime with my other two boys. William, my 5 year-old, said he wanted to "make a video" on my tablet. So, I set it down on the kitchen table, switched it from camera to camcorder mode (on the mirror mode setting, of course), and he went to town.
He'd obviously not thought out what exactly his vlog was going to be about, but I love that turned out to be a mish-mosh of stuff. Those are always the best videos, don't you think? I love unscripted!
I absolutely adore the Xoom's camera and video quality. It's leaps and bounds superior to the iPad 2. Trust me, I have one. One that sits behind a my cabinet doors and gets very little use. I have been using my Xoom's camcorder feature to capture my kids playing football, singing, acting crazy, and well, doing just about anything.
What do you use to capture your kids on video and stop time for just a moment?

My two older boys and I had a chance to check out the new movie, Hop, this weekend. It debuts in April, just in time for the colorful Easter holiday! I found it to be funny, sarcastic, sweet, and fun and colorful. While I must say that I had an entire blog post full of why I enjoyed the movie, I thought this time I'd give my kids the chance to weigh in.
