Lisa @ Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy

Can't wait to watch next week

we are so excited, too Lisa! :)

I love watching the swimming in the Olympics too! And I totally agree that children should be taught to swim for safety reasons as well as fun. You never know when you're going to need those skills.

The Diaper Diaries

Swimming and gymnastics are my favorite Olympic sports. Swimming always gets my heart pumping because the races are so close!!!!

Great post! I LOVE swimming!!!

Tree - thanks for your comments. SwimToday.org is hoping to share that very message with parents -- that swimming must be taught even if for water saftety only!

Jill @ The Diaper Diaries - Those are mine too!! The excitement surrounding swimming is so fun to watch!

Hey Amy! We are big swimming lovers here too! Thanks for stopping by to share your comments! :)

This is so cool! I CAN'T wait to watch!

me too, Emily! :)

Annie @ Mama Dweeb

I am so excited for you! I really want to get my kids to love swimming more. I wasn't really brought up around swimming much. We hardly ever went to the pool after my mom had more than 3 kids (she ended up with 5 LOL) To this day, I cannot dive. (shameful!)

I am taking my kids to the pool this year as much as I can and getting them in swimming lessons as soon as I can! Great post!

I am not a diver either but that is great that you are at least exposing your kiddos to the pool and the SwimToday.org is a great resource for finding local swim lessons and resources in your area. The Olympic medalists we spoke to said it's pretty much never too early to put kids in lessons! :) Thank you for stopping by to say hi!!!
