Back in June my sister, mom, niece, and nephew all made the trek up I-35 to Kansas City and paid us a visit. It was the first time EVER that all 6 cousins {and grandkids} were together. In one spot, let alone one city. The kids all had the time of their lives playing with each other, keeping each other company, and just all around kickin' it.
During the visit, we decided it would be fun to have them all take a photo together. A REAL photo that was all posed and such. Nothing too fancy, which would obviously distract from their sweet little faces. 5 little boys and one sweet girl. I was so excited to see how the photos would turn out.
So, we all headed down to the local Target portrait studio {I love that they could get us in with just a day or two's notice} and crossed our fingers that we'd get at least one decent photo of all six of them. Turns out we got so much more!
Yep, that's me holding the beautifully created custom canvas wrap by Fathead®. Now, I know you may be asking "who is that stunning woman who appears in the canvas photo with those darling children?", and I'm excited to tell you that is my sweet mama! Yep, the grandmother of all grandmothers. She's known by those 6 sweet children as simply, "Grammy". As it turns out, our impromptu photo session yielded quite a few great photos of the kids as a group AND with Grammy!
When I recently had the opportunity to experience Fathead® myself, I knew exactly what custom creation I wanted to receive! I'd decided to surprise my mom with a canvas print of this photo of her and her precious grandkids. Logistics prevented me from getting it to her recently, which is why you see a picture of ME holding the canvas rather than a photo of it hanging one a wall in her beautiful home. Either way, I must tell you that when I opened up the canvas and pulled it out of its protective sleeve, I was in awe. Seriously in awe. The canvas is so much more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed {and I'm not just saying that because 4 out of the 6 of those kids are mine}! The quality is amazing and I know it will be a lifelong treasure for my mom. It's going to look fabulous on her wall and I'd be willing to be she may be going online to order even more to hang all around her house.
