Looking for a new Halloween family tradition to introduce your kids to? You'll want to include the new PBS KIDS special, Curious George: A Halloween BooFest. It debuts on PBS KIDS this October 28th.
My kids are HUGE Curious George fans and have been for some time. Even my 10 year-old really enjoys watching the episodes and movies. In fact, every morning before school my two older boys try and rush through breakfast so they can have time to watch the second half of the regular Curious George episodes that air at that same time. The episodes usually end right around 7:25 a.m. so that's when they put on shoes and get ready to go. So, you can imagine how excited they were to receive the party pack that included the new Curious George Halloween BooFest movie on DVD and one of our favorite books - Curious George Goes to a Costume Party - to enjoy this season.
We enjoyed watching the full-length Curious George BooFest movie after dinner recently and the kids were entertained the entire time. Without giving away a spoiler about the special, I will say that Curious George gets to put his detective skills to the test in figuring out a spooky Halloween mystery. I can tell that this is going to be a family favorite during this last week leading up to Halloween and beyond.
And per the usual, my kids were loving the Curious George book we received as well. We love the shenanigans and costume trying-on that the lovable little monkey engages in throughout the book. There are so many fun costumes to see and discuss in this book.
And, as if all of the excitement of a new Curious George Halloween movie and book weren't enough, I know your kids will love these free Halloween themed printable activity sheets.
