This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Sears and Latina Bloggers Connect. As always, all opinions are my own.
I know many of you share the same sentiment as me, in that family truly IS everything. Over the past year, I've been tested in ways that, although I've not been able to publicly share about here on my blog (I will soon, though), have made me even more sure that family is the meaning of life.
Now, as an adult, and a mom of 4 of my own kids, I realize how hard my parents worked at building our family. They worked tirelessly. And I don't just mean at their day jobs, but worked at guiding, teaching, memory-making, and in all of the other ways that they sacrificed for my siblings and I to even just have a chance of growing up happy and healthy. This work is something I'll never be able to repay them for. The only way I would ever come close, is to put forth that same effort in working for my own kids, and let my parent's legacy live on.
The one memory I truly treasure was when I was able to provide for my parents in getting them to Maui for my wedding back in 2001. It is something I'll forever be grateful for being able to do. I'm so proud to be their daughter.
Some of those same emotions came back to me as I watched this video from Sears. Watch as Jasmine, along with the help of Sears, surprises her hard working father. And, there's even a surprise in it for Jasmine herself! This video will warm your heart!
This is just another way that Sears always gives you more!
If you would love to surprise someone you love, send your tweet to @Sears with the hashtag #MasDeLoTuyo and Sears might give you that opportunity!
