I received a KidzSafe Audio Gear product for the purpose of this review. This post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own.
I'm always on the hunt for kid-friendly tech products. Since my kids have gotten their own devices, on my list of things to find are the best audio headphones for kids. I want to make sure that their ears are protected when they're using iPods and such along with headphones. So, you shouldn't be surprised to learn that I was so excited to try out the KidzSafe headphones recently.
What I love about KidzSafe and their line of products, is that they provide the same high-quality sound found in full-sized audio products, without exposing children to harmful levels of noise. They also focus on individuality and the DIY aspect. Their producst incorporate fun color options and customizable stickers so kids have the ability to show their style and personality.
I found it interesting to learn that while the typical volume range of an MP3 player is between 60 and 130 decibels, KidzSafe headphones and speakers leverage volume-limiting technology
to ensure that audio output never surpasses 85dB, protecting children from hearing loss.
Their KidzSafe D.I.Y. Headphone comes in four color options (pink, blue, grey, and purple), and the
D.I.Y. on-ear wired headphones are a blank canvas ready for kids to design and style. Each volume limiting pair comes equipped with more than 50 removable designer stickers, two tangle-free cords, two sets of snap-on ear pads and a carrying case. Aside from being fully customizable, the on-ear headphones feature an adjustable headband, 3.5mm gold plated connectors and custom 40mm drivers. They retail for $29.95, which is a great deal and well worth protecting your kids' ears!
