This is a sponsored conversation in support of the 2016 Children’s Miracle Network Annual Fundraising Campaign. All opinions are my own.
Our local children's hospital has a special place in my heart for many reasons.
Ranking at the top of that list has to do with when my 3rd born son developed RSV as an infant. What started out as a common cold (or so I thought) when Jacob was just 3 months old, turned out to be a long battle with RSV, and a series of health issues that still plague my son today.
I remember him just being so sick, and I felt so helpless. I wanted to save him from it all. The week long use of nebulizer treatments and steroids. I wanted to save his little lungs that were struggling so hard just to take a breath. My whole body hurt every time I heard him wheeze or cough.
Thankfully, though, he pulled out of it. And without any hospital stays. I am so grateful for the work of children's hospitals everywhere. Without their guidance and resources, I would have been lost. I know they provide care, compassion, and hope for children and their families during the scariest of times.
That’s why it is my honor to support the 2016 Children’s Miracle Network Annual Fundraising Campaign. Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club have partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network for their annual fundraising campaign which is happening now through October 9th. Your donations will go to help children’s hospitals provide amazing care to children suffering, like mine was. You can help kids live better by donating to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at your local Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club store today! Every bit goes to support their mission and the selfless work they do to bring peace to sick children and their families.
Do you have a special children's hospital that is near and dear to your heart?

That must have been such a scary experience for you...thank you for sharing your story. I hope your son is very happy today.
